AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Front Desk Receptionist / Client Services Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients at our dog daycare and boarding facility. This role requires a friendly, professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for animals. The receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, processing payments, and supporting the smooth operation of the front desk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.

  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide accurate information about services, policies, and availability.

  • Book and manage daycare, boarding, and enrichment reservations.

  • Check dogs in and out of the facility and communicate clearly with the daycare team.

  • Process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate client records.

  • Provide daily updates or report cards to pet owners at pick-up.

  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming front desk and lobby area.

  • Handle client concerns or complaints professionally and escalate as needed.

  • Coordinate with daycare, and enrichment staff to ensure seamless care and communication.

  • Monitor vaccine records and follow up with clients for updates.

  • Support the team with additional tasks as needed (e.g., retail sales, social media content, light cleaning).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior customer service or receptionist experience (animal care or veterinary experience a plus).

Strong computer skills and familiarity with scheduling software (e.g., Gingr, PetExec, Paw Partner, or similar).

Sparkling Disneyesque personality.

Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment.

Overnight Attendant

Position Summary:

The Overnight Pet Care Attendant is responsible for the safe, attentive, and compassionate care of all animals during overnight hours. This includes feeding, administering medications, conducting safety checks, and maintaining a clean, secure, and comfortable environment for both pets and staff. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the well-being and smooth overnight operations of the boarding facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Review the daily pet log and communicate with the 2nd shift supervisor to confirm any pet concerns or special needs.

  • Complete nighttime suite routines, including providing fresh water, closing doggie doors once pets are inside, and turning off suite lights.

  • Ensure cats have clean litter and adequate water.

  • Perform safety checks on all pets.

  • Feed pets according to owner instructions and dietary needs.

  • Administer medications accurately as directed.

  • Document important details on charts, including food intake, elimination, and any abnormalities; report concerns immediately to the Supervisor or Management.

  • Confirm all housekeeping tasks are performed according to guidelines and complete the daily checklist.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, and teammates regarding any issues or updates.

  • Maintain a professional and caring attitude at all times.

  • Assist with other tasks or duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Manager

Management Duties:

Properly manage and maintain gym operational budget

Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems

Manage, monitor, and evaluate the performance of all gym-related managers.

Monitor the hiring, training and scheduling of all gym level staff.

Train and mentor subordinates

Properly delegate, monitor and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of sales team through the Sales Manager.

Responsible for managing disciplinary actions involving all gym level employees.

Operational Duties:

Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service in a high volume retail environment through personal actions and development of the staff.

Provide effective decision making regarding customer service issues.

Plan and promote special events for the gym on a monthly basis, using corporate marketing as needed.

Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean and operationally sound.

Job Qualifications:

High School diploma with five years professional experience. College degree preferred.

Fitness industry experience preferred but not required.

Be promotionally-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company required outreach programs.

Strong customer service orientation with proven results.

Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Entrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence.

Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with two years of management experience preferred.
